The oldest part of Bauska Castle – the impressive 15th centuryFortress of the Livonian Order on the peninsula between the junction of the Musa and Memele Rivers was once a safe guard of the order's border.The Newest part of Bauska Castle – residence for the Dukes of Courland was built at the end of the 16th century. Visitors can look the ruins of the Livonian Order Castle and visit the viewing platform in the tower, the exposition on the history of the castle, thematic exhibitions.

Mežotne Palace is one of the brightest examples of classicism architecture in Latvia, and it is even more significant due to the carefully planned and harmonious landscape around it merging the palace. The present building of Mežotne Palace was constructed from 1797 to 1802 according to the design of Italian architect Giaccomo Quarenghi. Mežotne boasts an English style landscape park based on natural beauty.
The Brukna manor house and a few more estate buildings (two granaries and a cattle house) are situated opposite the Brukna castle mound and the artificial pond on the bank of the Iecava River. The 19th century complex of estate buildings has started a new life by giving a home ti the Catholic youth camps and housing the rehabilitation centre for drug addicts.
Dzimtmisa Manor-house is a majestic wooden building with a steep span roof. It has been rebuilt several times and is now an elementary school. Next to the manor-house there is a park with a pond set up in the 19th century.
Derpele Manor-house was built around 1840; the landscape park was established in the 19th century. Today the building houses a retirement home. You can visit the renovated facade, a rose garden and the park.
