Ausekļu Mill
The open-air museum has a collection of ancient tools. You can even get involved into various chores in a farmstead and see the ancient techniques in action. Every spring and autumn the museum has Sowing and Harvest Festivities with demonstrations of the ancient field works and crafts, visitors are welcomed to try out different activities.
For relaxation Ausekļu Watermill offers also countryside sauna, accommodation spaces and camping facilities.

Bārbele sulphuric spring
In the 18th century there was a healing house for the Duke of Courland next to Barbele Sulphur Spring, but it was destroyed. The water of the sulphur spring can still be scooped and tried.
