Iecava municipality

The municipality borders with Bauska, Vecumnieki, Ozolnieki, Olaine and Baldone municipalities. The municipal territory consists of several villages: Iecava, Zālīte, Zorģi, Rosme, Dzimtmisa, Dimzukalns and Audrupi. The administrative centre of the municipality is Iecava, located 45 km from Rīga, 21 km from Bauska, 30 km from Jelgava. The total area is 311,6 km² , inhabited 9548 people (01.01.2011).

Dzimtmisa  Manor , Mini zoo “Dobuļi”  , Iecava Roman Catolic Church,  Cannons in the centre of Iecava , Iecava Lutheran Church, Dievdārziņš , the complex of Iecava Manor,   Iecava Landscape Gardens,   Iecavas sports and history Museum.

There are also other monuments with heritage value in the district.
